Dr. Blair Anderson, DVM, Co-Owner & Primary Veterinarian Dr. Blair Anderson is a co-owner and the primary veterinarian at Cross Creek Animal Clinic. She joined the Buck Lake Animal Hospital team, Cross Creek’s sister clinic, in 2017 and brings years of leadership and clinical experience to her role at Cross Creek.

Dr. Anderson earned her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University. She completed an intensive internship at the Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center, where she trained across multiple specialties and developed strong clinical interests in internal medicine and dermatology.

Dr. Anderson and her husband, fellow veterinarian Dr. Carlos Varela, purchased Cross Creek Animal Clinic in October 2025. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her two children, Evan and Harrison, and their dogs — Lou, Nacho, Millie, Gigi, and Louis.
